Prof. Anna Jupowicz – Ginalska joins the research team. Welcome on-board Anna!
We’re excited to announce that as of July 2022 prof. UW Anna Jupowicz-Ginalska joins the project’s core research team as Co-Investigator. We aimed to bring to the project a diverse team of experts, with distinct skills, expertise, and key networks, who will support both the implementation of our extensive fieldwork as well as contribute to conceptual and empirical refinement of the field of media and journalism studies.
We’re convinced that Anna is such a person, and that she will strengthen our team’s expertise with her extensive theoretical and practical media management knowledge, media polarization, as well as help with the project’s management. We’re especially looking forward to prof. Jupowicz-Ginalska’s contribution to answering project third research question on how non-members (representatives of civil society, including minority media outlets), with whom newsrooms are working with the objective of increasing their polyphony, experience their relationship with these newsrooms? prof. Jupowicz-Ginalska will also support the Ukrainian-Taskforce on media diversity.
